PBT AG, as the provider of the website www.pbt-ag.com and the responsible party, takes the obligation to data protection very seriously and designs its website in such a way that only as little personal data as necessary is collected, processed and used. Under no circumstances will personal data be rented or sold to third parties for advertising purposes. No personal data will be used for advertising or marketing purposes without the express consent of the visitor.

At PBT AG, only those persons have access to personal data who need this data to carry out their tasks within the responsible body, who are informed about the legal provisions on data protection and who have undertaken to comply with them in accordance with the applicable legal provisions (Art. 5 of the EU basic data protection regulation (EU-DSGVO)). The collection, processing, use and transmission of the personal data collected is, in accordance with Art 6 paragraph 1 EU DSGVO, only to the extent necessary for the implementation of a contractual relationship between PBT AG, as the responsible party, and the visitor, as the data subject.

You have the following rights towards us with regard to personal data concerning you:

Changes of purpose of processing and use of data
As technical progress and organisational changes in the processing methods used may change/further develop, we reserve the right to further develop this data protection declaration in accordance with the new technical framework conditions. We therefore ask you to check the privacy policy of PBT AG from time to time. If you do not agree with the further developments that may occur over time, you may request in writing, in accordance with Art 17 of the EU DSGVO, the deletion of data that is not stored on the basis of other statutory provisions, such as commercial or tax retention obligations.

Anonymous data collection
In principle, you can visit the websites of the responsible body without telling us who you are. We only learn the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, and the websites you visit on our website. This information is evaluated for statistical purposes. As an individual user you remain anonymous.

Collection of personal data

Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example when registering for the newsletter.

Newsletter / further development of technical services

As part of the personalised services of the controller, your registration data will be processed, subject to your consent, for the purpose of sending you our newsletter or for the needs-based design of the electronic services offered.

Storage of access data and server log files
Every time a user accesses a page on our website and every time a file is called up, data on this process is automatically stored and processed in a log file on our web server. In detail, the following data is stored about each access or retrieval:

- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of the request
- retrieved page/name of the retrieved file
- transferred data volume
- Message whether the access/retrieval was successful
- Internet address from which the page or file was called up or the desired function was initiated
- Web browser used

The aforementioned data including the IP address are stored for the duration of the communication process in order to enable the use of our Internet offer. In addition, the IP address is stored for a short period to guarantee IT security, in particular to protect our IT systems from misuse and to defend against attacks.
We reserve the right to evaluate the data in an anonymous form for statistical purposes and to improve our Internet offer.

Export and processing of data in countries outside the European Economic Area
Your personal data will not be exported to countries outside the European Economic Area (hereinafter EEA).

Personal data will not be transmitted to Google as part of the use of analysis programs by the responsible party, as your IP address will only be transmitted anonymously. Please read the section entitled "Use of analysis programs" in this data protection declaration.
The service providers engaged by the responsible body have their headquarters and operate their IT infrastructure exclusively within the EEA. This also applies to any use of cloud-based services. Contracts exist with the service providers that comply with the data protection and data security requirements of the EU DSGVO. Even if external service providers are called in, PBT AG remains the body responsible for the processing.

Use of cookies
For technical reasons, the responsible body uses so-called "cookies". A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily stored in your computer's memory ("session cookie") or stored on your hard drive ("permanent" cookie). The responsible party mainly uses "session cookies", which are not stored on the customer's hard drive and are deleted when the browser is exited. Session cookies are used for login authentication.

Avoidance of cookies
The visitor has the possibility to refuse the setting of cookies at any time. This is usually done by selecting the appropriate option in the browser settings or by using additional programs. If the customer decides to disable cookies, this can reduce the scope of the service and have a negative impact on the use of the services of those responsible.

Use of analysis programs
The responsible body carries out or has carried out analyses of the behaviour of its customers in the context of the use of its service. For this purpose, anonymous or pseudonymised user profiles are created. The creation of the user profiles is carried out for the sole purpose of constantly improving the service of the responsible body.

As a result, the IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form to exclude direct personal reference.
