Individual design through PBT profile bending machines

Individuality is very important nowadays, especially when it comes to designing living spaces. To make this possible for the buildings belonging to it, the company BMS Biegetechnik GmbH has specialised, among other things, in offering arched elements for window and façade construction in all variations. The range extends from round windows to individually designed front doors and complete façade elements.

In order to master this task optimally, a good and reliable partner is needed, which was found more than 10 years ago in the form of PBT Germany GmbH, formerly INDUMASCH GmbH, today a subsidiary of the Swiss PBT Profilbiegetechnik AG. Since then, PBT Germany has been supplying a wide range of profile bending machines for 2D and 3D bending processes. In the meantime, twelve machines are in use at BMS, which were supplied by the Swiss PBT Profilbiegetechnik AG and installed by PBT Germany on a turnkey basis, including the types ARKUS12, PBT25 and PBT35 both as standard versions and with add-ons. In addition, various elements for control are used at BMS, from simple to high-tech control. The machines are not only used for window and façade construction, but also for assembly production, for the manufacture of special elements and for contract bending.

Although the bending manufactory basically works with its own toolmaking shop, the PBT team, with whom there is close contact, is often consulted on difficult questions and demanding customer requests.

"At BMS Biegetechnik, in addition to supplying the machines, our company is also responsible for the technical optimisation of the bending process. To ensure that this works smoothly, we have carried out training courses both at the German branch PBT Germany in Siegen and at the parent company PBT Profilbiegetechnik AG in Switzerland. We are always happy to pass on our know-how to a good customer, but also for tricky special cases," says PBT Germany managing director Peter Sting.
